The Jewish idea is that the Torah of Moses is a truth for all humanity, whether Jewish or not. The Torah (as explained in the Talmud - Sanhedrin 58b) presents seven mitzvot for non-Jews to observe. These seven laws are the pillars of human civilization, and are named the "Seven Laws of Noah," since all humans are descended from Noah. They are:

Do not murder.
Do not steal.
Do not worship false gods.
Do not be sexually immoral.
Do not eat the limb of an animal before it is killed.
Do not curse God.
Set up courts and bring offenders to justice.

Maimonides explains that any human being who faithfully observes these laws earns a proper place in heaven. So you see, the Torah is for all humanity, no conversion necessary.

As well, when King Solomon built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, he specifically asked God to heed the prayer of non-Jews who come to the Temple (1-Kings 8:41-43). The Temple was the universal center of spirituality, which the prophet Isaiah referred to as a "house for all nations." The service in the Holy Temple during the week of Sukkot featured a total of 70 bull offerings, corresponding to each of the 70 nations of the world. In fact, the Talmud says if the Romans would have realized how much they were benefiting from the Temple, they never would have destroyed it!

Today, there are many active groups of non-Jews called "B'nai Noach" who faithfully observe the Seven Laws of Noah.

Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath have shaken the very foundations of New Orleans and the nation...

Though I live in the Bay Area, and it's been rumored that we may eventually fall into the Pacific Ocean or be blown off the map by a Korean 'nucular', or rather, excuse me, nuclear warhead, it's truly difficult to imagine such a thing happening to any of us. Nonetheless, when hundreds of thousands of people are out of a home, a job, a lifestyle, a life, family members and friends, not knowing what the next day has in store, there's no comprehending how emotionally distraught these people must feel.

In light of this, we must not dismiss the fact that the silver-spooned bubble boy George W. Bush, his immoral cabinet of puppeteers, and all of his amoral corporate buddies are greatly to blame for this happening and its aftermath. As with the war in Iraq and the attacks on the twin towers, these events were long ago foreseen. With the foresight that was made available, these events could have been prevented, or at least the destruction and loss of life could have been minimized with a contingency plan in place.

With regard to Bush's past actions and present inactions, why was Hurricane Katrina so much more devastating than it need be?

(1) Over the past year George W. Bush sent a significant percentage (I believe over 50%) of our National Guard to join the regular military in fighting an oil war, based on a set of well documented lies, to benefit his wealthy buddies, leaving the "homeland" mostly unattended. (2) A few years ago, the Bush administration "cut New Orleans flood control funding by 44 percent to pay for the Iraq war". (3) "The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposed to study how New Orleans could be protected from a catastrophic hurricane, but the Bush administration ordered that the research not be undertaken". (4) "In early 2001, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a report stating that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S., including a terrorist attack on New York City. But by 2003 the federal funding for the flood control project essentially dried up as it was drained into the Iraq war. (5) In 2004, the Bush administration cut funding requested by the New Orleans district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for holding back the waters of Lake Pontchartrain by more than 80 percent." (6) "The Bush administration's policy of turning over wetlands to developers almost certainly also contributed to the heightened level of the storm surge." (note - the statements in quotes are borrowed from Sidney Blumenthal's article in Spiegel titled, "No One Can Say they Didn't See it Coming")

Anyhow, It took three to four days after Hurricane Katrina before assistance arrived to New Orleans in any noticible form, then on Friday, five days after Hurricane Katrina, what was to be a flight over New Orleans in Airforce One turned into Bush making a brief press photo appearance at Louis Armstrong International Airport in Kenner, fifteen miles from New Orleans. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of New Orleanians, most of whom were poor and black, and many who were old and infirmed or very young, were going on their fifth day without basic necessities, scraping for their very lives as they struggled to maintain their sanity. It was a travesty, as to my knowledge, there weren't even any efforts to drop fresh water, food, blankets, medical supplies, and perhaps a couple hundred Port-a-Johns at the Superdome.

Now maybe this is just my curiosity getting the best of me, but I wonder what might have been the response if the people standing outside the Superdome and the Convention Center were white, middle and upper classed Christian folk? And I also can't help wonder what the response would be if this were a terrorist attack on New Orleans? Wouldn't blowing up one of the levees have been a pretty good target for terrorists? What happened to the billions of dollars that were supposedly funneled to local and regional agencies to deal with such an emergency?

How many tragedies must happen and high crimes need be committed before the American People understand that George W. Bush doesn't have the best interests of the People who he supposedly leads and serves. In my estimation, he clearly only has the interests of acquiring resources, wealth, and power for his megalomaniacal friends and of inflating his ego. And he is more than simply unfit to lead, he is truly a terrible leader, and most certainly a most dangerous representative to the ideas set forth in our Constitution and Bill of Rights: ideals that he repeatedly proselytizes, using the words 'freedom' and 'Democracy' in the form of repetitive and simplistic soundbites to justify his position to the rest of the world. He, the neo-Conservatives, and increasingly much of America have confused Democracy with Laissez Faire Capitalism. To further provide a means to their power grabbing ends, his administration has created a new enemy to fill the vacant space left behind by the Soviets, yet making our nation even more fearful by declaring war on the noun "Terrorism", which is for all practical purposes impossible and signals a never ending war. With regard to Katrina and knowing George's propensity for saying and doing dumb things, it wouldn't surprise me if he now declared Mother Nature - greatly affected by Global Warming, a direct product of our irresponsibility - a terrorist...

After a semblance of peace is restored to the devastated deep South, it is my opinion that George W. Bush should be impeached. This impeachment would be on the grounds that he has clearly proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, that he is an inept and irresponsible leader. And being that he and many of his cohorts have committed high crimes, they should then be tried by an independent court as criminals and enemies of the American People. For has it not been well documented in the mainstream media that his administration has lied, deceived, misappropriated public funds, tortured prisoners, and perpetrated conscious conflicts of interest in an official capacity (ie. ignoring seperations of Church and State, participating in illicit dealings and gouging with corporations such as Enron) while misrepresenting the American people to the rest of the world and thumbing his nose at our allies on numerous occasions?

And is it not clear that the crimes George W. Bush has committed are infinitely worse than the so-called crimes of former president Clinton: who was caught in an extramarital affair with a consenting adult, possibly a shill, then caught for telling a lie to a question there was never a legitimate reason for asking in the first place? What had this to do with leadership?

After Bush's impeachment, I then ask, would it be unreasonable to open an independent investigation as to the elections in 2000 and 2004, where voter fraud is suspected? Then should we perhaps appoint an independent commission to further investigate the many and various unanswered questions with regard to 9-11? Then, should we allow Bush and his officers to be tried, as have many an abusive world leader, by the International Criminal Court system in the Hague, as war criminals and violators of human rights? For isn't it true that many of our own troops and the troops of our allies along with hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghanis been killed, maimed, or subjugated to inhumane treatment? The list seemingly goes on and on...

For the time being though let me come back to the present... please consider sending donations of money, food, and clothing to reputable non-profits, and consider opening your homes to these refugees, then, after things calm down a bit, if you're able, go to New Orleans to help people restore their homes and their lives... but please, don't forget what has been happening before our very eyes. Because when the drama resulting from Hurricane Katrina is over, many of the fast food eating, short-attention spanned people from middle America and the mainstream public, who aren't directly affected by or involved in this catastrophe, will simply change the channel and go back to their mind numbing daily routine, choosing to forget, because it's just too uncomfortable to consider any real change.

We're at a crossroads, for at this time the People of this nation must either choose to see beyond the veil of lies and mistruths that the corporate media and this administration's propaganda demands we believe, or simply acquiesce and therefore morally and financially bankrupt our nation. Bush and his friends must no longer have their way with our Constitutional rights, our civil liberties, our public monies, and our defensive forces.

We must choose, with a passion, to impeach George W. Bush and the entirety of the Bush administration, then we must systematically remove the people in high ranking and highly affective areas who he has put in place while declawing the corporate interests that have demonstrated that they have no one's well being in mind except for that of the stock holder.

"No One Can Say they Didn't See it Coming"

In 2001, FEMA warned that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S. But the Bush administration cut New Orleans flood control funding by 44 percent to pay for the Iraq war.

Biblical in its uncontrolled rage and scope, Hurricane Katrina has left millions of Americans to scavenge for food and shelter and hundreds to thousands reportedly dead. With its main levee broken, the evacuated city of New Orleans has become part of the Gulf of Mexico. But the damage wrought by the hurricane may not entirely be the result of an act of nature.

A year ago the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposed to study how New Orleans could be protected from a catastrophic hurricane, but the Bush administration ordered that the research not be undertaken. After a flood killed six people in 1995, Congress created the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project, in which the Corps of Engineers strengthened and renovated levees and pumping stations. In early 2001, the Federal Emergency Management Agency issued a report stating that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S., including a terrorist attack on New York City. But by 2003 the federal funding for the flood control project essentially dried up as it was drained into the Iraq war. In 2004, the Bush administration cut funding requested by the New Orleans district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for holding back the waters of Lake Pontchartrain by more than 80 percent. Additional cuts at the beginning of this year (for a total reduction in funding of 44.2 percent since 2001) forced the New Orleans district of the Corps to impose a hiring freeze. The Senate had debated adding funds for fixing New Orleans' levees, but it was too late.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune, which before the hurricane published a series on the federal funding problem, and whose presses are now underwater, reported online: "No one can say they didn't see it coming ... Now in the wake of one of the worst storms ever, serious questions are being asked about the lack of preparation."

The Bush administration's policy of turning over wetlands to developers almost certainly also contributed to the heightened level of the storm surge. In 1990, a federal task force began restoring lost wetlands surrounding New Orleans. Every two miles of wetland between the Crescent City and the Gulf reduces a surge by half a foot. Bush had promised "no net loss" of wetlands, a policy launched by his father's administration and bolstered by President Clinton. But he reversed his approach in 2003, unleashing the developers. The Army Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency then announced they could no longer protect wetlands unless they were somehow related to interstate commerce.

In response to this potential crisis, four leading environmental groups conducted a joint expert study, concluding in 2004 that without wetlands protection New Orleans could be devastated by an ordinary, much less a Category 4 or 5, hurricane. "There's no way to describe how mindless a policy that is when it comes to wetlands protection," said one of the report's authors. The chairman of the White House's Council on Environmental Quality dismissed the study as "highly questionable," and boasted, "Everybody loves what we're doing."

"My administration's climate change policy will be science based," President Bush declared in June 2001. But in 2002, when the Environmental Protection Agency submitted a study on global warming to the United Nations reflecting its expert research, Bush derided it as "a report put out by a bureaucracy," and excised the climate change assessment from the agency's annual report. The next year, when the EPA issued its first comprehensive "Report on the Environment," stating, "Climate change has global consequences for human health and the environment," the White House simply demanded removal of the line and all similar conclusions. At the G-8 meeting in Scotland this year, Bush successfully stymied any common action on global warming. Scientists, meanwhile, have continued to accumulate impressive data on the rising temperature of the oceans, which has produced more severe hurricanes.

In February 2004, 60 of the nation's leading scientists, including 20 Nobel laureates, warned in a statement, "Restoring Scientific Integrity in Policymaking": "Successful application of science has played a large part in the policies that have made the United States of America the world's most powerful nation and its citizens increasingly prosperous and healthy ... Indeed, this principle has long been adhered to by presidents and administrations of both parties in forming and implementing policies. The administration of George W. Bush has, however, disregarded this principle ... The distortion of scientific knowledge for partisan political ends must cease." Bush completely ignored this statement.

In the two weeks preceding the storm in the Gulf, the trumping of science by ideology and expertise by special interests accelerated. The Federal Drug Administration announced that it was postponing sale of the morning-after contraceptive pill, despite overwhelming scientific evidence of its safety and its approval by the FDA's scientific advisory board. The United Nations special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa accused the Bush administration of responsibility for a condom shortage in Uganda -- the result of the administration's evangelical Christian agenda of "abstinence." When the chief of the Bureau of Justice Statistics in the Justice Department was ordered by the White House to delete its study that African-Americans and other minorities are subject to racial profiling in police traffic stops and he refused to buckle under, he was forced out of his job. When the Army Corps of Engineers' chief contracting oversight analyst objected to a $7 billion no-bid contract awarded for work in Iraq to Halliburton (the firm at which Vice President Cheney was formerly CEO), she was demoted despite her superior professional ratings. At the National Park Service, a former Cheney aide, a political appointee lacking professional background, drew up a plan to overturn past environmental practices and prohibit any mention of evolution while allowing sale of religious materials through the Park Service.

On the day the levees burst in New Orleans, Bush delivered a speech in Colorado comparing the Iraq war to World War II and himself to Franklin D. Roosevelt: "And he knew that the best way to bring peace and stability to the region was by bringing freedom to Japan." Bush had boarded his very own "Streetcar Named Desire."

Sidney Blumenthal, a former assistant and senior advisor to President Clinton and the author of "The Clinton Wars," is writing a column for Salon and the Guardian of London.

JULY 08, 2004 - WASHINGTON - The Internet has become the new Afghanistan for terrorist training, recruitment, and fundraising, an academic said.

Terrorist groups are exploiting the accessibility, vast audience, and anonymity of the Internet to raise money and recruit new members, said Gabriel Weimann, chairman of the communications department at the University of Haifa in Israel. The number of terrorists' Web sites has increased by 571% in the past seven years, Weimann says.

"Al Qaeda doesn't operate like a terrorist organization anymore," Weimann said, speaking at the New American Foundation in Washington yesterday. "They don't live together, they don't train together, sometimes they don't even meet." They don't need human interaction as long as they can communicate, he added.

Online Training

Al Qaeda's publication Al Battar or "The Sword" is an online training camp for its network around the world, Weimann noted. Edition nine of the publication was devoted to kidnappings. It suggests methods, potential targets, negotiating tactics, and even directions on how to videotape the beheading of victims and post the video on the Web. That issue was posted before the recent round of kidnappings and beheadings in Iraq.

The latest edition, number 13, was posted to Al Qaeda's Web site yesterday. Weimann said it's not yet fully translated, but its central theme is weaponry.

Referring the recent beheadings, Weimann said that such acts are very low-tech, while videotaping and posting the killings on the Internet are very high-tech. Terrorists thus use a combination of primitive and sophisticated measures in their attacks.

"Cyberterrorism is a dark cloud on the horizon," he said of potential future actions.

Terrorists who use the Web to promote their causes operate the same way most savvy marketers do, Weimann said. They inform their audience based on what they think most appeals to different groups of people.

The Nuclear 9/11

"Osama bin Laden may soon have his hands on three Agosta 90B next-generation stealth submarines capable of carrying sixteen sea-to-land cruise missiles each. Those missiles can deliver atomic warheads. And Osama, I suspect, will have access to the forty nuclear warheads constructed by Pakistan.
Washington and New York, two primary targets for Al Qaeda, are near bodies of water from which these nuclear-tipped missiles can be launched. So are many other major American cities.
Here are the skeletal details:

In 1994, DCN, the government-owned company that builds France's naval vessels, agreed to help the Pakistanis build and learn to operate a rather amazing shipyard. It was a next-generation facility building next-tech, Agosta 90B stealth submarines. As of today two of these subs have been built and a third is scheduled for launch by 2006.

Each Agosta 90B is able to carry sixteen Harpoon Stand-Off Land Attack cruise missiles. According to the Pakistani Navy Captain Iftikhar Riaz Qureshi, who commanded both of these subs in their test phases, Pakistan purchased its Agosta 90Bs to provide itself with "second strike nuclear capability." Qureshi's words imply that from day one, Pakistan's intention has been to tip these missiles with atomic warheads. And guess what? Since Pakistan tested its first nuclear bomb in 1998, every nuclear device it's made has been a missile warhead.

According to Defence Journal, Pakistan's subs have a range of close to twelve thousand miles…they can travel to the Hudson River or the Chesapeake Bay, unleash their missiles on New York and Washington, then still be able to take refuge in mid-ocean, lay low and threaten other world capitals with a similar fate.

The United States operates a network of hydrophones scattered all over the Atlantic and Pacific seabed. We are listening for subs like these. But we may not be able to hear them. The Pakistani subs use a methanol-and-liquid-oxygen engine bedded on a suspension system that quiets its purr to a whisper. We may not be able to detect their silent running beneath the sounds of zebrafish fanning their tails.

Many a Pakistani would love to see the nuclear destruction of America's key cities. Pakistan has one of the most violently fundamentalist and anti-American populations of any of the world's 57 Islamic states. And that's saying something.

From 1979 to 1995, Pakistan was the headquarters for a group of "Afghan freedom fighters" who were not Afghans at all. They were an international army paid for by the US, Saudi Arabia, and China, armed by the CIA, and trained, in part, by China's Peoples Liberation Army. We trained an army of 50,000 men from 30 nations to bring down the Soviet Union's most advanced tanks, jets, and helicopters. Why? Our mutual goal was to embarrass a common enemy--the Russians. Chief among the recruits to our proxy Jihad were Osama bin Laden and the founding members of Al Qaeda.

Pakistan is the nation whose citizens rioted in the streets in 1989 over the title of a novel they didn't like--The Satanic Verses. It was Pakistan's street activists who forced the Ayatollah Khomeini to issue a Fatwa offering five million dollars to the Moslem who killed Salman Rushdie. The Pakistanis were more extreme than the most extremist Islamic leader of his day. And that was fifteen years ago! Since then anti-Americanism and anti-Westernism has grown.

Pakistan is also the nation that educated a generation of Afghan refugees who later went home to take over their country in the name of Islamic purity and justice. We know those refugees as the Taleban.

Today Osama bin Laden is one of Pakistan's two biggest pop-culture heroes. The other is "The Father of the Islamic Bomb", Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. Khan and Osama have reportedly met in Afghanistan. Khan is the weapons expert. Osama is the weapons user.

Many a Pakistani militant fundamentalist cell identifies itself as an Osama ally. One of the strongest among these Osama-loyalists is arguably Pakistan's most popular leader, Fazlur Rahman Khalil, the man who told 60 Minutes that: "God has ordered us to build nuclear weapons."

On the other hand, the base of Pakistan's military dictator, Pervez Musharraf, is a slender reed. According to Syed Adeeb, head of Information Times, a militant Pakistani press outlet based in the National Press Building in Washington DC, "an Urdu-language letter written by Pakistan Army officers on a Pakistan Army letterhead and sent to many members of the Pakistan Parliament" calls, "'Pervez Musharraf and his clique…a band of thieves and looters…imposed on this nation'" by the United States.

Adeeb himself calls Musharraf, "a self-appointed 'President,' military dictator, army tyrant, human rights abuser, traitor and highly paid mercenary of war criminal George W. Bush".

Musharraf has been the target of at least five assassination attempts. The latest took place the very day Saddam Hussein was captured in December 2003. Yet only he stands between Osama and the Islamic submarines. Only Musharraf stands between Osama and the cruise missiles Pakistan's subs can carry. And only Musharraf stands between Osama and the 40 or more nuclear warheads Pakistan has built since it exploded the first Islamic atomic bomb.

Which means that only Pervez Musharraf stands between Osama and what bin Laden, in a January 2004 speech broadcast on Al Jazeera, called, "a surprising blow…one that…due to its magnitude…will change the international balances of powers…."

Here's what I strongly suspect is Osama's dream endgame: Nuke a few key cities in the United States. Blind and devastate the Great Satan. Then watch while France, Germany, Italy, and England capitulate. Capitulate to what? To Osama's dream, his passion, his vision of truth and freedom--to a global Islamic caliphate.

I want a world of peace. So do you. But until our understanding of ourselves goes a good deal farther, we have to face the fact that we live in a world of violence. If we pledge to remain non-violent, those who've declared themselves our enemies and who love "death more than you love life" will chuckle at our weakness…and use it to cheer their comrades on to new atrocities. They will fight the battle of the faithful and the good--the fight for what Osama calls "justice, manners, and purity"-the battle for the truth of God's messenger. They will assert the truth expressed by an al-Qaeda-allied author, Seif Al-Din Al-Ansari, that we live on an expendable "speck of dust called Planet Earth." They will use our reticence to make the mother of all wars. And it will not be environmentally friendly."

"Suppose you wanted to successfully end the war on terrorism, in a way that was just and secured freedom to the maximum extent. If that is what you wanted, achieving that end would actually be simple. Not easy, but simple. Here is how you would do it.

Step 1:
Impose a two-state solution on the Israel-Palestine conflict, to be implemented within twelve to twenty-four months. Declare an end to all aid, financial, military and otherwise, including possibly a freezing of assets unless the two-state solution is implemented within the time frame. The two states would be composed of Israel in close to its 1967 borders, and Palestine within most of the currently occupied territories. It would include no automatic “right of return, ”but a fair financial compensation strategy to be implemented over a five year period, along with a negotiated and limited right to apply for immigration. Once the two states are established within their respective new borders, each has the right to self defense against terrorist activity, aided by a United Nations peace keeping force. (I am not talking about the proposed Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, which in many ways just creates a disguised prison, as all border crossings, airspace, and sea ports are to remain in Israeli control, as are also the delivery of food and electricity.)

Step 2:
Declare that the U.S. will end any dependence on (meaning zero imports of) Middle East oil, within ten years. Institute a new "Manhattan Project" research and development program to shift to a hydrogen energy economy. Begin by shifting transportation (cars and trucks) away from gasoline, and toward an alternative. Choose an alternative. For the first 10 years, make that alternative gasoline-electric hybrids (bio-fuel may be substituted for gasoline). End all tax breaks for internal combustion autos, two years from now. This would include tax rebates for purchase, and also depreciation and expensing of such vehicles. For the extreme gas guzzling cars and trucks, say which get less than 15 miles per gallon, impose a surcharge on their purchase to aid in the R&D project, starting now. Provide a generous tax break on all hybrid vehicles, including a cash award to dealers for each one they sell. Impose a new tax on gasoline to help pay for the R&D effort. At a date ten years from now or before, begin the shift to a new transportation energy infrastructure, most probably based on hydrogen, fuel cells, and advanced battery technology. Outlaw any vehicle that runs only on internal combustion gasoline by the year 2020.

Step 3:
Set a date to withdraw all U.S. troops from all middle-Eastern and Muslim nations, by ten years from now. Begin withdrawals now. This is the most difficult for some people to swallow, as it is seen as "giving in" to terrorists. But there is little reason to maintain military presence in these countries, except to protect access to oil. Step 2 takes care of that. And taking those who demand a U.S. withdrawal at their word would then expose the lie, should hostilities continue. The major downside to this withdrawal is a certain level of abandonment of women in these regions, who are so oppressed. But U.S. military presence is not doing them much good, and later steps in this proposal address the issue.

Step 4:
Declare that any terrorist attack any where in the world is an attack on civilization and on the U.S., and that U.S. military and law enforcement will join with the victim and the United Nations in responding to such attacks with targeted and intense force aimed at the perpetrators. At the same time, drop all the rhetoric about a "war between civilizations".

Step 5:
Increase and sustain resources to national and international intelligence agencies so that remaining terrorist activities are more likely to be penetrated and attacks prevented before they happen.

Step 6:
Declare that any nation determined to provide deliberate haven to or support for terror will be cut off from the International community, via information and physical blockade. Engage in severe netwar against any such nation. (No access to Internet, telephone, travel, etc.)

Step 7:

In concert with the global community, attack the regions of the world that are the primary breeding grounds of terrorism, not with weapons but with massive education and economic development assistance. Live up to our promises to rebuild Afghanistan, as a start.

Step 8:
Push the Re-start button for the 21st Century, as it ought to be.

Post Script:
Is there any chance such a simple but not easy solution would be implemented? Not really. The primary reason, I believe, is that chaos always benefits certain players, and those players do not, really, want to end the chaos.* Radical, Islamist totalitarians obviously benefit from the chaos, but while it is admittedly harsh to apply such a judgment upon ourselves, consider the following.

I will never forget a class I took in 1981, while a graduate student at the University of Washington. The professor was Dr. Ed Wenk, first science advisor to Congress, author of the legislation that created NOAH, and a leading thinker on society and technology. In the class he was discussing the power of the military-industrial complex in determining U.S. policy. And he said, “If the Soviet Union ceased to exist tomorrow, we will have to invent a new one, ”in order to keep the current system running, in power, and making money. For a short while after 1990 it seemed that China would be a good substitute, but then "terrorism" appeared and was selected, because, as we are told over and over, it is a threat “everywhere, in every nation, ”and because it is a "war that will last for generations. ”Perfect. Situation normal.

I'll be posting this in all kinds of left-ist-ish tribes and groups et cetera for forgive the redundancy. Please repost widely as you see fit.

On March 20 there are going to be protests against the continued occupation of Iraq. These will take place all over the world with the hope of exceeding the turnout of 2/15/2003.

March 20 is the one-year anniversary of the attack by the United States and the UK. These have led to a minimum of 10,000 Iraqi deaths and over 500 Americans. This has also alienated much of the world to an extent rarely acheived since the emergence of anything resembling a world community. These are just some of the problems with the invasion for example the fiscal irresponsibility of it would be even more prevalent in the protest if it weren't for the body count.

There will be large regional demonstrations throughout the United States. If you are interested in helping organize and would like contact information for your closest organizing group drop me a message and if I don't know it I'll find it.

The real story of George Bush

The story starts well before he launched his own career. It goes back to the 1920s, when the Dulles brothers and the other pirates of Wall Street were first making their deals with he Nazis. To understand Bush's role as a senior official of the Republican Party, as head of the CIA, as US vice president and then ultimately in White House it is important to trace the Bush Family s right back to the beginning of the secret espionage war against the Jews. George Bush's problems were inherited from his namesake and maternal grandfather, George Herbert "Bert" Walker, (Note the W. in George W. Bush stands for Walker, George W. Bush is named for George Herbert "Bert"Walker, as is his father, the former US President George Herbert Walker Bush.) a native of St. Louis, who founded the banking and investment firm of G.H.Walker and Company in 1900.

Later the company shifted from St.Louis to the prestigious address of 1 Wall Street." Grandfather Walker was one of Hitler's most powerful financial supporters in the United States. The relationship went all the way back to 1924, when Fritz Thyssen, the German industrialist, was financing Hitler's infant Nazi party. Some Americans made their connections to Germany through Allen Dulles's firm of Sullivan and Cromwell because they supported fascism. The Dulles brothers arranged American investments in Nazi Germany in the 1930s to ensure that their clients did well out of the German economic recovery. "Dulles clearly emphasized projects for Germany and for Mussolini's fascist state. All told, these and more than a dozen similar transactions had a combined value in excess of a billion dollars.

Sullivan and Cromwell was not the only firm engaged in funding Germany. According to THE SPLENDID BLOND BEAST, Christopher Simpson's seminal history of the politics of genocide and profit, Brown Brothers, Harriman was another bank that specialized in investments in Germany. The key figure in the firm was Averill Harriman, some of his allies who also served on the firm's board included Robert Lovett, who worked closely with James Forrestal to lead the State Department's revolt against Truman's pro-Zionist policy during the UN debate on the partition of Palestine, and George Bush's father Prescott, who later became a US Senator.

The firm originally was known as W.A. Harriman and Company. The link between Harriman and Company's American investors and Thyssen started in the 1920s,through the Union Banking Corporation, which began trading in 1924. In just 1 three year period the Harriman firm sold more than $50 million of German bonds to American investors. In 1926 Bert Walker made Prescott (Bush) vice president of W.A. Harriman.Walker's specialty was companies that traded with Germany. As Thyssen and the other German industrialists consolidated Hitler's political power in the 1930s,an American financial connection was needed. Union Banking became an out and out Nazi money laundering machine. (Prescott) Bush specialized in British investors in Nazi Germany, while Walker handled the Americans.

Walker also set up a deal to take over the North American operations of the Hamburg-Amerika line, a cover for I.G. Farben's Nazi espionage unit in the United States. The shipping line smuggled in German agents, propaganda, and money for bribing American politicians to see things Hitler's way. The holding company was Walker's American Shipping and Commerce, which shared the offices at 39 Broadway with Union Banking. Harrimnan and Company merged to become Brown Brothers, Harriman, Prescott Bush became one of the senior partners of the new company, which relocated to 59 Broadway, while Union Banking remained at 39 Broadway.

In 1934 Walker arranged to put his son-in-law (Note Prescott Bush, father of former President Bush) on the board of directors of Union Banking. Harriman's stock in American Shipping and Commerce was controlled by yet another holding company, the Harriman Fifteen Corporation, run out of Walker's office. The directors of this company were Averill Harriman, Bert Walker and Prescott Bush. A 1934 Congressional investigation alleged that Walker's 'Hamburg-Amerika Line subsidized wide range of pro-Nazi propaganda efforts both in Germany and the United States'.

Standard Oil of New Jersey had completed a major stock transaction with Dulles's Nazi client I.G. Farben. By the end of January 1937 Dulles had merged all his cloaking activities into one client account: 'Brown Brothers Harriman-Schroeder Rock'. Schroeder of course, was the Nazi bank on whose board Dulles sat. The 'Rock' were the Rockefellers of Standard Oil, who were already coming under scrutiny for their Nazi deals.

The US Government charged Prescott Bush with running Nazi front groups in the United States Under the Trading with the Enemy Act and all the shares of the Union Banking Corporation were seized, including those held by Prescott Bush as being in effect held for enemy nationals. Union Banking, of course, was an affiliate of Brown Brothers, Harriman, and Bush handled the Harrimans' investments as well. Once the government had its hands on Bush's books the whole story of the intricate web of Nazi front organizations began to unravel. A few days later 2 of Union Banking's subsidiaries Holland American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation-also were seized. The government went after the Harriman Fifteen Corporation, which Bush shared with his father-in-law Bert Walker, the Hamburg-Amerika line, and the Silesian-American Corporation. The US Government found that huge sections of Prescott Bush's empire had been operated on behalf of Nazi Germany and had greatly assisted the German war effort."

The next Hamas suicide bomber can kill without strapping a bomb belt to his body. DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources reveal the new type of explosive going into use after the collapse of the Cairo ceasefire talks as being much smaller and lighter while packing a much larger bang. It is compressed enough to be carried in a small bag or hidden in the killer’s clothes. A vest can be soaked in its liquefied form. Improved detonators and timers enable the bomber to start the countdown before he reaches target. By the time he is searched at the entrance to a mall or bus station, the bomb is on timer.

This week, after the breakdown of the Egyptian attempt to broker a Palestinian ceasefire, Hamas leaders issued instructions to the operational commands in Damascus and the Gaza strip to fully reactivate all terror units for a fresh offensive against Israel. They agreed to cooperate.

A senior Hamas operations commander in the Gaza Strip Abu Muhaheed forewarned Palestinian officials of this decision and told them of the extra-powerful, miniaturized explosive substance for use by Hamas suicide bombers.

Israeli security experts confirm the improved incendiary is far more powerful than the types used hitherto by Palestinian terrorists. It appears to be a new cocktail not previously encountered in the Palestinian terrorist offensive in Israel.

DEBKAfile’s Counter-terror sources add that the Hamas appears to have obtained the new explosive from the Hizballah together with the improved timers and detonators which enable the terrorist to activate the charge between ten and twenty minutes before he reaches the scene of attack. Even if he is caught on the way to target, there is no way the bomb can be disarmed. It will go off exactly at the preset time.

Israeli counter-terror chiefs have suspected that a new kind of composite bomb substance was about to go into use after two British Muslim suicide bombers attacked a Tel Aviv seafront bar at the end of last April. One fled, the other’s body was found with an unknown type of explosive.

On May 20,, the presumption was confirmed when the Israeli navy succeeded in capturing an Egyptian fishing boat, “Abu Hasan,” en route from Beirut to Gaza. On board was one of Hizballah’s expert bomb-makers, Hamad Amra. Found in his possession were 36 instructional video tapes demonstrating how to assemble explosive material and the different ways of incorporating them undetectably in fine undergarments or even outer wear to defeat the searches of bags.

Security experts assume that the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group transferred the experts and the know-how to the Hamas in the Gaza Strip, with the help of Syrian military intelligence

On a balmy, sunny day in the early part of last fall, I did the Epcot stroll and got in a good lap around the World Showcase Lagoon before picking up an extremely daintified, pink princess secrets journal from a store not too far from the plastic pavilion representing Mexico. The adorable little book is silver, in a sparkly fairy way, with Tinkerbell courtseying on the front and a pink plastic lock with a key dangling in a clear sheath below. Tinkerbell's been my favorite Disney character for years because she's a right sexy gal, even if she thinks her hips are too wide. In any case, I turned it into my "ideas" book, a handy reference to mental noodlings that would never be remembered because the bridge to my long-term memory fell in a mindquake years ago.

There are some jottings about George W. Bush and Iraq, something erratically scribbled about "The Evil Anti-Kennedy" and "down with the aristocracy!" As of press time, Bush was shaking his finger at millions of protesters around the world saying that he respectfully disagreed with their anti-war stance and cheerfully pointed out that the masses were exercising their First Amendment rights.

I know he's only the CEO of America and that most of the decision-making is up to his board of directors, but this guy beats out Michael Eisner for the dubious honor of "Most Likely To Be The Destroyer Of Disney World." On September 11th, 2001 - Disney was the first business to shutter its doors and usher out the bewildered and uninformed masses. Specific intelligence was received that the world-famous resort had become a target for terrorist attack and they weren't taking any chances. Of course, it makes perfect sense. After attacking their cities of industry and financial stability, really do the Big Dirty on 'em and start blowing up their theme parks, movie theaters, stadiums and malls. The first televised images of people staggering out of an international icon like Spaceship Earth, where more than a few videocameras would be available to roll, videotapes quickly sold to local stations, because you know if people grabbed shattered bits of Columbia to sell on E-Bay, someone would want to deliver the footage and get their fifteen minutes of "I was there" over with. The stations would clamor for them too, paying top dollar to be the first with the "exclusive" shot by a tourist at Walt Disney World when a popular attraction was rocked by a grenade explosion.

Now, since I know the government is on my hard drive and looking at these words through some sort of supercomputer that looks for buzz words and phrases on the internet, I'll make this statement as advised by my lawyers that in no way, shape or form do I, Bing Futch, intend to blow up Spaceship Earth or President Bush at any time in the near or far distant future. It's not in my character. If this story has not been updated in a month, head for the borders and don't forget the sheep.

They say that this is the Land of the Free where Freedom Rings, but if I wanted to make a movie right now about an American Terrorist like Timothy McVeigh that actually has a loyal, supportive following of anti-American neo-patriots, it would be downright insulting to a disproportionate amount of people. That Bush fool is not only taking away our last few freedoms in this country, he's also pissing off other countries, which will make it very difficult for Americans who wish to try on their ex-patriate shoes to take them Anywhere-But-Here.

The last time, Americans fought for liberty from the British. This time, Americans should fight for liberty from the Bush. Ol' King George stands for everything this land was against when it was first a functional democracy, not counting the first aristocratic administrations.

Bush and Co. are playing a dangerous game with all the "cheats" on. They perceive themselves to be like Romans of old, forging ahead with a mighty army and ensuring themselves names in all the history books. If their plan goes well - we kick holy hell out of Iraq, put Korea in its place and show those religious nuts in the Holy Land who really owns the temples and places of prayer. The mighty United States, led by mightier men than anywhere else.

And if the plan fails and one of those Weepers O' Mass Destruction should come streaking across American skies - Bush and the Brave Roman Consulate will duck into one of those vast underground cities near Colorado and watch everything via closed circuit television. Think of it as "Bush's Ark" - everything needed to re-seed civilization will be in place.

Unicor - Prison Industrial Complex

I believe the existence of companies like Unicor and the privatization of the prisons complex is feeding the growth of the underground and breeds terror. When you have Multi-national corporations like Microsoft, Starbucks, Victorias Secret, TWA and others using this cheap prison labor you are mixing the judicial justice system with greedy CEO ambition and that's a bad thing. The money is in the head count, and filling the jail cells of Federal penitentiaries like Pelican bay and Crescent City, which are usually located in disenfranchised and isolated areas. What is the plan? Sweep ghetto areas and slap mandatory drug sentences on non-violent small time users and abusers.

Meanwhile the real human cost of this wholesale lock up is unnoticed because of the previously stated isolation from society by these corporate jailers. Nobody saw anything right? Who really gives a damn anyway we've got to keep the middle class proletariat safe from the dirty underworld. Two hots and a cot. The system moves on, the privatization of prisons is the result of mass apathy by the american population. That is only the beginning. Soon the world bank and the rest of the usual conspirators will rear their ugly heads again because we are just too numb to even notice. When consolidation and monopoly are complete you will have a four or five headed monster that easily is more terrifying than any beast of the apocalypse.

Most so-called intellects usually disregard conspiracy theories regardless of the evidence available, but as far as conspiracy goes this one is a doozy.

On January 12 Indian intelligence officials in Calcutta detained 11 foreign nationals for interrogation before they were to board a Dhaka-bound Bangladesh Biman flight. They were detained on the suspicion of being hijackers. "But we realized that they were tabliqis (Islamic preachers), so we let them go", said an Intelligence official.

The eleven had Israeli passports but were believed to be Afghan nationals who had spent a while in Iran. Indian intelligence officials, too, were surprised by the nationality profile of the eleven. "It appeared that they could be working for a sensitive organization in Israel and were on a mission to Bangladesh," the official said. 72 (emphasis added)

What were these 11 Israelis doing trying to impersonate Al Qaeda men? Infiltrating?...perhaps. Framing?...more likely. But the important precedent to understand is this: Israeli agents were once caught red handed impersonating Muslim hijackers.

WHO WAS REALLY FLYING THOSE PLANES ON 9-11?

Hours after the 9-11 attacks, authorities began to find clues conveniently left for them to stumble upon. The Boston Globe reported that a copy of the Koran, instructions on how to fly a commercial airplane and a fuel consumption calculator were found in a pair of bags meant for one of the hijacked flights that left from Logan. 64

Authorities also received a "tip" about a suspicious white car left behind at Boston's Logan Airport. An Arabic-language flight training manual was found inside the car. 65

How fortunate for investigators that the hijackers "forgot" to take their Koran and Arab flight manuals with them! Within a few days, all "19 hijackers" were "identified" and their faces were plastered all over our television screens.

Then, like a script from a corny "B" spy movie, the official story gets even more ridiculous. The passport of the supposed "ringleader" Mohammed Atta, somehow managed to survive the explosion, inferno, and smoldering collapse to be oh-so-conveniently "found" just a few blocks away from the World Trade Center! 66

It is obvious that this "evidence" was planted by individuals wishing to direct the blame towards Osama Bin Laden. How is it possible that Arab students who had never flown an airplane could take a simulator course and then fly jumbo jets with the skill and precision of "top-gun" pilots? It is not possible and the fact is, the true identities of the 9-11 hijackers remains a mystery. In the days following the disclosure of the "hijackers" names and faces, no less than 7 of the Arab individuals named came forward to protest their obvious innocence. 67

That's right! Seven of the nineteen "hijackers" are alive and well. They were victims of identity theft, some of whom had had their passports stolen. They were interviewed by several news organizations including the Telegraph of England. Heres an excerpt from David Harrisons Telegraph story entitled:

Revealed: The Men With Stolen Identities:

"Their names were flashed around the world as suicide hijackers who carried out the attacks on America. But yesterday four innocent men told how their identities had been stolen.

The men - all from Saudi Arabia - spoke of their shock at being mistakenly named by the FBI as suicide terrorists. None of the four was in the United States on September 11 and all are alive in their home country.

The Telegraph obtained the first interviews with the men since they learnt that they were on the FBI's list of hijackers who died in the crashes in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

All four said that they were "outraged" to be identified as terrorists. One has never been to America and another is a Saudi Airlines pilot who was on a training course in Tunisia at the time of the attacks. Saudi Airlines said it was considering legal action against the FBI for seriously damaging its reputation and that of its pilots." 68

The story of these identity thefts was also briefly reported by ABC 69 and BBC (England) 70 The FBI does not deny this. Nobody denies this fact because it is easily verifiable. Instead, the US media and government just ignore this inconvenient little fact and keep right on repeating the monstrous lie that the hijacker identities are known and that 15 of them were Saudis.

CNN revealed that FBI director Robert Mueller openly admitted that some of the identities of the 9-11 hijackers are in question due to identity theft. Heres what CNN reported on September 21:

FBI Director Robert Mueller has acknowledged that some of those behind last week's terror attacks may have stolen the identification of other people, and, according to at least one security expert, it may have been "relatively easy" based on their level of sophistication. 71

This opens up a whole Pandoras box of unanswered questions. First and foremost of which is this: why would Osama Bin laden, the Saudi Arabian caveman, steal identities? To cover his tracks you say? Next question: why would a Saudi Arabian, attempting to cover his tracks, steal the identities of....fellow Saudi Arabians??? What would be the point? Why go you through the trouble of stealing identities that would point back to you? Why not steal Greek identities, or Brazilian identities, or Turkish ones? A much more logical conclusion is that non-Arabs stole these identities as part of a "false flag" operation designed to point the blame at Arabs, and Saudi Arabs in particular.

What kind of a corrupt character is FBI boss Mueller? He initially admitted that false identities were involved with 9-11, but then he allows the media to keep naming these innocent, and alive, Arabs as the hijackers? Why doesnt he correct them? More on the slimy Mr. Mueller later on!

Now I'm really going to rock your faith in the false religion of 9-11. In February of 2000, Indian intelligence officials detained 11 members of what they thought was an Al Qaeda hijacking conspiracy. It was then discovered that these 11 "Muslim preachers" were all Israeli nationals! Indias leading weekly magazine, The Week, reported:

Washington, April 3: Indian intelligence agencies helped the US to identify the hijackers who carried out the deadly September 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, a media report said here on Wednesday. 73

Ain't that a kick in the ass?!! Did you catch that? The Indian intelligence officials that were duped into mistaking Israeli agents for Al Qaeda hijackers back in 2000, were the very same clowns telling the FBI who it was that hijacked the 9-11 planes! Keep in mind that Indian intelligence has an extremely close working relationship with Israels Mossad because both governments hate the Muslim nation of Pakistan. 74

Now about Mohamed Atta, you know, the so-called "ring leader". There are a number of inconsistencies with that story as well. Like some of the 7 hijackers known to be still alive, Atta also had his passport stolen in 1999, 75 (the same passport that miraculously survived the WTC explosion and collapse?) making him an easy mark for an identity theft. Atta was known to all as a shy, timid, and sheltered young man who was uncomfortable with women. 76 The 5 foot 7 inch, 150 pound architecture student was such a "goody two shoes" that some of his university acquaintances in Germany refrained from drinking or cursing in front of him. How this gentle, non- political mamma's boy from a good Egyptian family suddenly transformed himself into the vodka drinking, go-go girl groping terrorist animal described by the media, has to rank as the greatest personality change since another classic work of fiction, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Atta, or someone using Atta's identity, had enrolled in a Florida flight school in 2001 and then broke off his training, making it a point to tell his instructor he was leaving for Boston. In an October 2001 interview with an ABC affiliate in Florida, flight school president Rudi Dekkers said that his course does not qualify pilots to fly commercial jumbo jets. 77 He also described Atta as "an asshole". 78 Part of the reason for Dekker's dislike for Atta stems from a highly unusual incident that occurred at the beginning of the course. Heres the exchange between ABC producer Quentin McDermott and Dekkers:

MCDERMOTT: "Why do you say Atta was an asshole?"

DEKKERS: "Well, when Atta was here and I saw his face on several occasions in the building, then I know that they're regular students and then I try to talk to them, it's kind of a PR - where are you from? I tried to communicate with him. I found out from my people that he lived in Hamburg and he spoke German so one of the days that I saw him, I speak German myself, I'm a Dutch citizen, and I started in the morning telling him in German, "Good morning. How are you? How do you like the coffee? Are you happy here?", and he looked at me with cold eyes, didn't react at all and walked away. That was one of my first meetings I had." 79

This is eerily similar to the way in which Zacharias Moussaoui (the so-called "20th hijacker") became "belligerent" when his Minnesota flight instructor tried to speak to him in French (his first language), at the beginning of that course. The Minnessota Star Tribune reported on December 21, 2001:

"Moussaoui first raised eyebrows when, during a simple introductory exchange, he said he was from France, but then didn't seem to understand when the instructor spoke French to him. Moussaoui then became belligerent and evasive about his background, (Congressman) Oberstar and other sources said. In addition, he seemed inept in basic flying procedure, while seeking expensive training on an advanced commercial jet simulator." 80 (emphasis added)

It truly is an amazing twist of fate that both Atta and Moussaoui both had American flight instructors who spoke German and French respectively. Even the great Mossad could not have foreseen such a coincidence! The real Atta would have been able to respond to his instructors German small talk and the real Moussaoui would have been able to respond to his instructors French small talk. Atta just walked away and Moussaoui threw a fit! Neither responded because neither could. They were imposters, whose faces were probably disguised by a make up artist. Their mission was to frame the two innocent Arabs who were probably targeted by the Mossad at random.

The imposter was able to create a new Atta by using Atta's stolen passport from 1999 - the same passport that floated safely to the ground with a few burnt edges on 9-11. These strange inconsistencies tend to give support to Mohammed Atta's father's claim that he spoke over the phone with his son on September 12th, the day after the attacks. 81 Could a group of professionals have abducted and killed the real Atta in the days following the 9-11 attacks? Mossad agents, posing as "art students" were arrested after conducting some type of operation in Hollywood, Florida, the same small town that Atta stayed in! 82 So what happened to the real Mohammed Atta? To quote his grief stricken father: "Ask Mossad!".

So who, if not the "19 Arabs" was on those planes? Thats the million dollar question! There are a number of alternative scenarios. Could some Israelis have been fanatical enough to have volunteered for such a suicide mission? Odd as that may sound at first, it is not out of the realm of possibility. The fact is, hard-core Zionist extremists have proven themselves to be every bit as fanatical, (more so), than Arab extremists.

A nation which can produce thousands of bloodthirsty Zionist extremists, Irgun war criminals, Mossad terrorists who blow up occupied buildings, assassins who kill Israeli Prime Ministers in full view of policemen, and crazed killers who have carried sickening massacres of Arab women and children; would surely be capable of recruiting a few fanatics willing to sacrifice for "the cause". This theory becomes even more plausible when we consider that only the pilots would have needed to know that the planes were on a suicide mission.

Still dont think Israel is capable of producing suicidal terrorists? Have you already forgotten the case of Dr. Baruch Goldstein?. Goldstein was a New York doctor and resettled in Israel. On February 25, 1994, Goldstein walked into a crowded Arab mosque in the occupied West Bank. With hundreds of worshippers kneeled in silent prayer, Goldstein sealed off the exit, and opened fire with a rapid-firing assault rifle, killing 29 and wounding many more. Goldstein, a father of four, was finally stopped and killed when the frenzied crowd overpowered him. With as many as 800 worshippers packed into the mosque, Goldstein surely could not have been expecting to come out alive. This was clearly a suicide attack. And what did Goldsteins mother have to say about her sons suicide attack? The Boston Globe revealed:

"The mother of Baruch Goldstein, the Jewish settler who massacred about 40 Palestinians in a Hebron mosque a week ago, says she is proud of her son. "I always thought to myself, When would someone get up and do such a thing? And in the end, my son did it," Miriam Goldstein told the weekly Shishi newspaper." 83

It gets even more sickening than that. Baruch Goldstein has become a folk hero among many of the crazed side-locked settlers who have encroached upon the West Bank. They have turned Goldsteins gravesite into a memorial and set up a website to honor his murderous deed! Look what these fanatics posted on the Goldstein memorial website:

Over the years, the grave has become a site of pilgrimage. Numerous people from all over the world come to pray and honor his (Baruchs) memory. 84

One has to wonder if some of Goldsteins admirers were flying those planes on 9-11. There is one interesting side note here which may or may not be of any significance. One of the two Israelis who died aboard the hijacked planes was Daniel Lewin - who was aboard the first plane to crash into the Twin Towers. The Haaretz News Service of Israel revealed that Lewin, was a one-time officer in the Israeli Defense Forces elite Sayeret Matkal commando unit. 85 Oddly enough, Lewins name is missing from CNNs comprehensive September 11 Memorial website.

Another possibility is that some other group of "patsies" was recruited for the operation. Perhaps some anarchists, or some leftover Marxists who thought they were going to bring down western capitalism. Or perhaps, the hijackers were another group of angry Arabs who werent even aware of who their true handlers really were or what the broader strategic aim of the mission actually was. In the dark world of covert operations, agents are often kept ignorant of who it is that orchestrating the show.

Admittedly, these scenarios are speculative, but one thing that is not speculative is this: the hijackers were not the 19 men whose faces were shown on our TV screens!

The rumoured terror plan my people heard through the sleeper cell chatter is about collapsing a pyramid. A thin, tall tower's not as challenging as one of those wide-base Egyptian pyramids.... those are so much more stable structurally.

New volunteers from occupied Baghdad to occupied Jerusalem have been busy trying to rent one of the lower levels of the TransAmerica Pyramid in SF. .... it takes a while to become tenant for the entire level and not get noticed.... The evil idea is to position explosives in selected locations of that level and detonate them all at the same time.

I really wouldn't mind if they do it at night like they do it in Fight Club so all our credit card debt would get erased indefinitely!.....

Bush rejected peace deal

More than a few reliable news sources claim the U.S rejected a proposed peace deal offered by a Lebanese business man acting as a middle man between Saddam Husseins intelligence and the Pentagon.
The alleged peace dismissal was confirmed by Richard Perle, chairman of the Defense Policy Advisory Board - who claims he was told by the CIA not to discuss the Iraqi peace offer. Apparently this was one amongst many that were disregarded by the bloodthirsty Bush administration leading up to the war.
